Who we are

Dreamline STEAM Olympiad organises an international academic competition for students in Grades 1–12. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have.

What we collect

• Registration data: participant name, date of birth, grade, school, city, country, and a parent or guardian email address where the participant is a minor.
• Account data: email address and an encrypted password.
• Payment data: the invoice reference and the receipt you upload. We do not store card details.
• Examination data: your answers, score and award category.
• Technical data: anonymised website analytics. We do not store raw IP addresses for analytics purposes.

Why we collect it

To register you for the competition, deliver and mark the examination, issue certificates and medals, publish results, contact you about your participation, and meet our legal obligations.

Children's data

Most of our participants are minors. Registration of a participant under 16 requires the consent of a parent or guardian, which is captured during registration. We collect the minimum data necessary and never sell personal data.

Publishing results

Medal winners may be published on our All-Time Winners page with their name, category, medal, school and country. If you would prefer your child's name not to be published, tell us and we will withhold it.

Who we share data with

With your country representative or partner school where they coordinate your entry, and with service providers who host our site and deliver our email. We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Registration and result records are kept for as long as needed to verify certificates. Account data is deleted on request. Analytics data is anonymised at collection.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and personal data. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference. Analytics is measured without identifying cookies.
